Karadeniz Technical University is glad to announce that The 1^st International Symposium on Turkish & Japanese Environment and Forestry will be held in Trabzon, Turkey on 04-06 November 2010.

Main purposes of the symposium are to make the friendship between two countries, which comes from history, stronger in scientific platform and to make a contribution to sustainability of the natural resources, which are getting more and more important, by cooperating.

The symposium, which will be held by Faculty of Forestry in Karadeniz Technical University, is the first organization upon environment and forestry between Turkey and Japan. Improvements in cooperation and in common studies between these two countries are naturally desired to be owing to the symposium.
